The wrong reason?

Love for money is the root of all evil. Quote from the bible. Money as a motivator to start a new venture it always seem to phase away. There's two schools of thought that says pay me and I'll be motivated to work or do what you love and you'll be motivated to work. Which is right? Sometimes what you love to do today is not what your love to do tomorrow though. Emotions and feeling change over time. Its something called "getting bored". It brings me back to the fact when I was a child I would get a new toy and it would be the best toy for me to neglected after a couple of days.

Honestly there's a lot out there doing what they love and broke. So what's wrong? I believe there must be a balance between love and hate. To simplify, I will relate it to excersizing. You hate to run but love to look good in that new outfit, which give you a sense of satisfaction. You hate your coach for pushing you too hard but love him for helping you will the championship. You should not love what you do all the time but you should not hate it either, again there's a need for a balance. If you want to be a champ you have to choose what you love but fight through the pain in which you hate.

Imagine how it will feel and let that be your motivator!

Video Card Test

I been watching this guy on youtube called Linus Sebastian at NCIX.com where he talks about computer hardware. He is able to use many different programs to test/benchmark his new hardware which makes guessing not an option (this is a good this). One good software he uses is called Fraps. Fraps does a couple of things like read how many frame rate per sercond (FPS) your game or video is playing, and record your screen. I haven't tried recording my screen but I wonder how it compares to Camtasia. Anyways what I used it for was to test how many FPS my computer runs a game or youtube video and it sucks. I need a new video card or a computer entirely. But its a useful software that happened to fall on my lap.

Why do you do?

Why do you learn how to program?
In case I get fired from my non skilled job at least I'll have a skill set to fall on. ha

Why did you make videos?
I believed I could make a business out of it but I also got so much satisfaction in making people laugh (damn it I think theres a bug in my ear). And its an excuse to get with friends.

Why are you learning how to build computers?
so you can make the best computer for the least amount of money and give you the ability to customize.

You have a good job be grateful for it, work to keep it but don't stop applying. Don't forget the reason your learning to program right now. Stop trying to be a billionaire. Have fun making videos. Use the slight edge (good book by Jeff Olson). A little a day or you just need to work harder.

A message to me...

Scroll to the Bottom

When programming I normally like to put all my experiment code on one document. After a while that document gets real long and I have to scroll all the way down to read my output. To solve this problem I use this line of code below. When I open the webpage it scrolls straight toward the bottom.

<body onload="window.scrollTo(0,document.body.scrollHeight);return false //this auto scroll the page to the bottom " >

Let's try this again

Damn it. Every time I try to start a blog I either lose my password, forget to write and ends up with me stopping. Let's try this again. This blog has nothing specific as of yet in terms of content instead its about me and what I'm currently working on. It will range from programing, videos effects, maybe computer building and aliens
